Googlebot got ability to execute AJAX - JS For indexing

Just read the news in labnol.org about the indexing of FB comments in Google search! and now just a some moments ago, Matt Cutts confirmed on twitter that Google is now able to “execute AJAX/JS to index some dynamic comments.”

here is the screen shot of that tweet!!

so now GoogleBot, has the ability to read comments in AJAX or JavaScript, such as Facebook comments or Disqus comments and others that are dynamically loaded via AJAX or JavaScript. In addition, this means, Google is better at seeing the content behind more of your JavaScript or AJAX.

As people were talking and expecting about the AJAX - JS indexing, and Google confirmed that!! Google knows what user wants, better then any one else!!!

India Against Corruption, now on Android Market [app]

The "talk of the town" in India, India Against Corruption (IAC) now has an Android application and a Symbian app, to help spread awareness about the movement.  India against corruption, application runs on all Android devices running OS version of 1.6 or up. IAC application has latest news, streaming videos, polls, volunteer registration, latest about Lokpal and few other features. Looks like the application was developed in a record time and is also much needed to spread the word. India Against Corruption (IAC), has already released a Twitter app.

There is one more application called "Lokpal messenger", developed for Nokia phones by two Sastra University [Tamilnadu, India] students.

Now Play Games on Google plus [Live]

The war is on. Google plus launched Games, as expected, so now you can play games on google plus live and free, a small icon signifying that Google+ Games had gone live. The launch of games on Google+ is no surprise. Back in June, a reference to “Google+ Games” appeared in Google+ code. 

Following games are available on google plus:
Crime City,city-ville,resort world,uno boost,Millionaire City,Wild Ones,Bubble Island,Shadow Fight,City of Wonder,Angry Birds,Diamond Dash,Edge world,Bejeweled Blitz,Dragons of Atlantis,Zynga Poker,Zombie Lane,Dragon Age Legends,Mafia Wars 2,Flood-It!,Happy Kingdom,Global Warfare, and many more!

This feature is no more surpising as i told, because to give a good fight to other social networking site, i.e Facebook, it should be expected.The social network began offering a range of games from publishers including Zynga, Rovio and Wooga, but minutes after Google announced the offering on its Official Blog, it disappeared.The blog entry displays 16 game titles including Angry Birds, Bejeweled Blitz, Zynga Poker, Bubble Island, City of Wonders, Collapse Blast, Diamond Dash, Crime City, Dragon AGe lgeneds, Dragon of Atlantis, Edge World, Flood it, Monster World, Sudoku, Wild ones and Zombie Lanes.

This feature will attract more and more people to join Google plus, but for me, i am still waiting for the API feature launch in Google Plus. +1 for Games.

Apple quietly introduced a new 21.5-inch iMac specifically for educational institutions on Monday.

The computer, first noticed by MacRumors, costs $999 — about $200 less than the models available to the general public.

Lowering the price seems to have come at the expense of some bells and whistles. The education-only iMac does not, for instance, come with Apple’s new Thunderbolt port. For an extra $150, schools can purchase the publicly available version.

Apple also still appears to be offering the $899 education-only 20-inch iMac that it released in 2009.

As The Washington Post points out, Apple has always targeted the education sector, and its success with the iMac in schools is part of the reason why its sales are above the industry average.

How to install Android SDK on Computer?

well its even easy to install Andorid SDK on computer. Here is 6 simple Steps you can follow for intallation of Andorid SDK.

1st Step...

Download and Install the Android SDK.

a. Download the Android SDK  [ Right now its available for major OS like Windows,MAC and Linux].
b. Install/Extract the downloaded SDK.
c. Go to the directory where you installed the SDK [i.e C:\] and open SDK Manager to open Android SDK and AVD Manager.
d. In AVD manager under Available Packages you can see different versions of SDK’s.

e. Select SDK Platform tools and one of the version of SDK and click on install.

2nd Step...

Downloading Eclipse Software

Although there are lot of IDE out there Eclipse is recommended IDE which will give you best support for Android app development.

• You can download Eclipse IDE from here.

3rd Step...

Installing Android Development Toolkit [ADT] plug-in.


a. Open Eclipse s/w and under Help -> Install New Software…


b. Now you will see a window which allows you to install new plug-in.


c. Click on Add button and in Name and in Location give the link https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ and proceed with further steps. You can see window like below:

Creating Sample Project android project involves very few steps:

a. In your Eclipse IDE go to File and Android Project.

b. Give Project Name, Select Build Target, Application Name, Package Name, Activity Name, Min SDK version and click Finish. 

c. Now you can see bunch of files created in the project explorer.

Creating New Android Virtual Device [AVD]

The AVD is an emulator which provides you android hardware and software environment to test application on computer.

a. In Eclipse open SDK Manager under Windows and Android SDK and AVD Manager.

b. Click on New on the right side. [Like this side image show]

c. Give Name, Select Target give SD Card size and click on Create AVD.

d. Now a new AVD is created with the specification you provided and Close the Android SDK and AVD Manager.

6th Step...

How to RUN the Project?

a. Right Click on the project in Package Explore and click on Run As -> Android Application.

b. Now you can see an AVD is opened and booting up. [It might take much time to launch AVD for the first time].

c. Once the AVD started you can see the output on the AVD screen.

Install WordPress on Your Computer In 4 Easy Steps [with WampServer]

WordPress is an open source CMS, often used as a blog publishing application powered by PHP and MySQL. It has many features including a plugin architecture and a templating system. Used by over 12% of the 1,000,000 biggest websites, WordPress is the most popular CMS in use today. And every one loves the WordPress too!

As its sounds great to use WordPress, even its easy to install.

Here we giving you guide to install WordPress with WampServer [What is WAMPserver? -->> WAMServer is Windows Apache MySQL PHP Server all bundled into one nice package.You don’t need to test your WordPress blogs theme Online.Instead try these offline with Wamp Server.]. By installing WampServer, you can be installing the following:

Apache 2.2.11 (the web server application)

PHP 5.3.0

MySQL 5.1.36

phpMyAdmin (a convenient web interface for managing our database) [Advantage].

To install it in your local computer, follow the steps.

1. Download The latest version of WordPress from The Official WordPress Site.

2. Download the Wamp Server  and Install it.It is recommended to Install It in the Default path “ C:Wamp”.

After Installing Wampserver

Start the Wamp server and Click on the Wamp Icon on System tray.Then Click On “Start all Services”

Creating new database.

Click on the System tray Icon and Click On “phpMyadmin”. A Page Will open in your Browser.(If you are Not familiar with the Php My Admin Interface Don’t panic!). Just Enter a database name in Create New database and Hit on Create.The database name can be anything ( Here i am Using “Test” as the database name).

Now that You have successfully created the database Open “SQLitemanager” by clicking the System tray  Icon. This Will open the SQLite page in your Browser. as shown here --->>>

Installing WordPress

1 Go to “C:\wamp\www” and Create a Folder. Name it something  i.e “test”.

2. Copy all the WordPress Files in that Directory. After You have copied the Files the directory will look like this..-->

3. 3.Fill in the database details: Now open wp-config-sample.php in any Text editor like Notepad .

In DB_NAME you will find "putyourdbnamehere".Replace it with the database name that you created earlier.(in this case its “test”).

In DB_USER replace “usernamehere” with “root”.

In DB_PASSWORD delete ‘yourpasswordhere’.Leave it blank.

Having done that save that file. Rename it to “wp-config.php”.The following screenshots will be more clear.

 

4. Install WordPress: Open http://localhost/test/wp-admin/install.php. Enter a Blog title and any email id.Then Hit “Install WordPress”. WordPress will be Successfully installed and you will see the Final screen.

Note the Username and password Given .After logging in Click On “users” and Change  the password to a more Convenient one. Thats it!! Easy!!
